RIVERTON – The FBI says a 36-year-old man was found dead last weekend in a house on the Wind River Reservation.
Investigators say 36-year-old Ritchie Tidzump had an apparent gunshot wound in his head and that a gun was found at the scene.
His body was found Saturday. No other details have been released.
Tidzump’s death is the second on the reservation this month that the FBI is investigating. Nineteen-year-old Shyrone R. Brown’s death was reported July 6.
The FBI says Brown wasn’t shot but the cause of death wasn’t released. Agents say it is being investigated as a homicide.

FORT WASHAKIE – Two men have been found dead on the Wind River Indian Reservation in Fremont County within a week’s time.
The bodies of 36-year-old Ritchie Tidzump and 19-year-old Shyrone Brown were found in Fort Washakie. The FBI is investigating both incidents, assisted by the Wind River Police and Fremont County Coroner’s departments.
FBI special agent Kathy Wright said Tidzump was found dead about 3 a.m. Saturday, inside a residence. She made the statement in a release issued Monday afternoon. In the release, she said Tidzump died of an apparent gunshot wound to the head, and that a gun was recovered at the scene.
The FBI did not say how or exactly where Brown’s body was found. His body was discovered on the morning of July 6.
County Coroner Ed McAuslan has not determined the manner of death for either victim. He’s waiting for autopsy results to come back from a Colorado lab. That takes four to six weeks.

The FBI has jurisdiction on American Indian reservations. Agents are also investigating the death of 36-year-old Ritchie Tidzump, whose body was found on the Wind River Reservation Saturday with a gunshot wound in the head.
OK, it’s certainly been more than 4-6 weeks for the autopsies to have been performed in all FIVE cases… Where are the results?
What is happening on THE WIND RIVER, and why is it being allowed to continue? Accountibility, please…
These deaths all beg the question: "ARE THESE CASES RELATED?????????????????"
